We had a big team of 20 Conservative councillors, candidates and activists out in Gravesend Central today.
It was a real pleasure to meet so many residents on the doorstep. In particular it was gratifying that nearly everyone was very courteous to us, no matter what political party they normally support. After all, we were interrupting their daily routines on a Saturday morning and we thank them for their responses.
We picked up a number of key issues that residents would like to see improved and will be factoring these back to the candidates for Central.
