Hayley is a local person who has lived and worked in Gravesham all her life. Hayley does not consider herself very political, so standing for local election is something that she considered carefully. Whilst raising her family in Gravesend, Hayley feels the decline in Gravesend has become more noticeable over the last few years and would like to look at ways of restoring the sense of community back into the very areas she grew up in. Hopefully making Gravesend a safer place for us all to live in.
Hayley spent a lot of her childhood in the Westcourt area, she attended Thamesview School and Hayley's grandfather still lives in the family home in Hampton Crescent where her dad was born, she is very proud to come from a local family with good connections to Westcourt. This is her home which she wants to help make a better place for all.
In her spare time, Hayley likes to walk her dogs in the fields of Chalk and Shorne and wants to protect these fields from potential housing developments.
Hayley is particularly interested in making Gravesend a safer place, reducing crime, and stopping inappropriate housing developments.
