Jeremy is a long standing resident of the Gravesham area having lived there for over 30 years.
Having lived in Gravesend for so long he seen many changes some good and some bad. But the town’s population is growing so fast with new housing developments, it’s creating more demands on local services and the council must respond to these challenges.
Jeremy grew up in Bexleyheath and attended BETHS Grammar School. His son also attended a grammar school in Gravesend so both are big supporters of grammars.
He didn’t join the Conservative Party until 1998 -after the heavy election defeat of 1997. But he is a committed and passionate supporter of the Party.
He stood as a councillor once before, in 2003 in Northfleet South, however was unsuccessful.
He has recently retired after 34 years in the NHS, but recently has taken up a role as an invigilator at Ebbsfleet Academy.
In his spare time he plays tennis and badminton. He is also a loyal fan of Charlton Athletic.
He also, with his wife, enjoys walking their miniature schnauzer dog.
Gravesend is a town with great heritage and future potential and Jeremy would like to be part of a team seeking to achieve that through attracting new businesses and improving the town’s appearance and environment
