Muqeem Ahmed Khan was born in India in a small Town called Maudaha located in the District Hamirpur Uttar Pradesh. His Father is a farmer but as he wanted his children to get an education, so Muqeem was sent to school in Aligarh, before starting his BSc at Aligarh Muslim University. Later deciding that he wanted to study Pharmacy, Muqeem moved to the Jamia Hamdard University Delhi where he graduated with a Pharmacy degree.
He then worked as a Pharmacist in Apollo Hospital Delhi (India) from 1987-2001 before moving to the UK in May 2001, and working for NHS hospitals, as a Pharmacist Technician. He has resided in Gravesend for the past 17 years.
Muqeem is proud to be a British Citizen and a member of Conservative party, as he trusts the Conservative Party to serve the community of Gravesend. Proud of our town’s heritage, our connection to the river and our great local schools, Muqeem is
looking forward to being your champion for Town Ward.
Muqeem is married and has three children. He is keen to work for the betterment of our community and be a friendly, professional voice on the Council for residents. He is a member of Kent Community NHS Foundation Trust and stood to be a Governor
a few years ago.
