Aaron Elliott is a member for Riverview at Gravesham Borough Council.
He is proud to be local councillor in Riverview Park where he grew up and now lives with his young family. Family is what drives him to try all he can to help make life in Riverview, and Gravesham more widely, as good as it can be for all residents, young and old.
Aaron has traced his family ties within Gravesham back over 300 years and feels an unbreakable bond with his home town. He has worked closely with residents on social media, helped with PACT meetings, and provided assistance to local PCSOs, but his biggest fight has been on the Lower Thames Crossing.
Aaron represents Riverview Park on the Lower Thames Crossing Association and while campaigning for a better solution away from Gravesend he has been integral in helping to mitigate the damage that the crossing is likely to bring.
Professionally, Aaron works as a Senior Developer for a local media company building enterprise websites and helping to provide learning management systems for the health and education sectors. In his interview he promised to “solve problems you didn’t know you had”.
For 22 years now Aaron has been a loyal player of Gravesham hockey club having joined as a school boy from Gravesend Grammar School. When not distracted by family, hockey and local issues he can be found planning his next big charity fundraiser for local causes.
